Falling Behind

I haven't posted in a few days now, but I'm still dedicated to doing a photo a day. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to take many photos recently, and I haven't even found much time to work on older photos. I hope to post at least one photo tomorrow, and eventually will catch up with the days I have fallen behind on.

I don't have time to take any photos today, so this is a picture I took earlier this month. It's an interesting looking plant, an agave, which I saw while on a walk in my neighborhood.

Today, my dad and I walked to a nearby park to catch the sunrise. I got a few good shots of the sunrise, but I ended up liking this better.

Today's picture is one I took last Saturday. I'm not going to have time to take any pictures today, and I have been wanting to do something with this shot. I caught the Osprey right as he was preparing to take off.

Well, this photo is actually one I took today. It was at the same place as yesterday's photo, but I got much better in-air shots of the ducks today. This one was landing near me, probably seeking free food.

Well, yesterday's photo excursion didn't prove as successful as Saturday's. However, I did like a few of the shots I got of some ducks. This was one of many that came right up to me, obviously expecting food.

Osprey

Yesterday, my dad and I drove out to Napa in the morning to take pictures of the vineyards, hot air balloons, fog etc.

What we didn't expect to see was this Osprey, which I glimpsed as we drove around Lake Hennessey. We quickly made a U-turn and came back to it.

It wasn't until later, viewing the pictures on a computer, that we realized that he was holding a half-eaten fish.

The Penguin Lives

Well, this is just the first post. I plan to post one picture a day, but I can't guarantee I'll keep up. If I fall behind, I'll post enough to make up for it. Right now, this is basically just a way to get my pictures on the web and give people a chance to take a look at what I can do.
